The extension provides translation features for WhatsApp Web. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC; this product is independent and is not endorsed by WhatsApp.
Data we process
- Message text is transmitted to
translate.maxentro.cloudonly when a translation is requested. - When you explicitly click “Recognize voice,” that single voice message is transmitted for real-time transcription and translation. Voice messages are never processed automatically.
- Email address, password hash, subscription status, daily translation count, and payment order status are stored when applicable.
- The extension stores settings and a seven-day text translation cache locally in Chrome. Cache keys are hashes; contact identifiers, source messages, voice recordings, and voice transcripts are not stored in that cache.
Data we do not use
We do not sell personal data, build advertising profiles, collect general browsing history, or retain message text, voice recordings, or voice transcripts in the service database.
Processors
Translation text and user-selected voice messages are sent to an AI provider for real-time processing. Alipay payments are handled by our payment gateway; we do not receive payment credentials.
Security and retention
Transport uses HTTPS. Passwords use salted scrypt hashes. Session tokens expire. Account and order records are retained while required to operate the service and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You may remove local data by uninstalling the extension. To request access or deletion of account data, contact searan9999@gmail.com.
